Clinique is a market leader within the cosmetic industry. They sell a range of women’s skincare products, men’s skincare and fragrances as well fragrance free cosmetics. All Clinique’s products are allergy and dermatology tested and are the end-result of decades know-how and beauty innovation.

A short article in Vogue Magazine was to be the inspiration of the biggest cosmetic brands of all times. The history of Clinique started when Evelyn Lauder (daughter-in-law to Estee Lauder) read the article “Can Great Skin Be Created?” At the time the common attitude towards skin care was mainly down to your genes, so when Evelyn created a product that was geared towards individual skin type but could also improve the skin you were born with it became an instant hit. This was back in 1968 and today Clinique is one of the biggest brands in cosmetics and facial care.

In 1971 Clinique presented their first fragrance, Aromatics Elixir. It is a captivating scent with aromatic, sensual and calming notes of sage, chamomile, jasmine and patchouli. Wear it lightly as a little goes a long way.

Happy is one of the most popular scents from Clinique – the perfume ad featuring Judy Garland singing “'Come on Get Happy” have attributed to this. The catchy song is well suited to this joyful fragrance which has been described as “Sunshine in a bottle” and “A scent of Happiness”. Happy opens with delicate notes of apple, plums and bergamot that blend into the floral heart of freesia, lily, rose and morning orchid. Musk and amber is to be found in the base. Happy was launched in 1997 and still remains very popular with women of all ages to this day. Wear Happy and be Happy!

Clinique launched Calyx in 1987; in 2013 Calyx got a perfume overhaul and is now an energizing and audacious fragrance, a cocktail of exotic fruits, amplified by white florals, perfect for summer days.
